The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is set to release results of the 2019 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) on Friday January 17, 2020.
According to a Notice released by the Ministry of Education and Sports on Wednesday, the PLE results will be officially released during a function to be held at Kampala Parents School main hall.
A total of 695,793 candidates sat for last year’s exam. 51.7 per cent of these were girls.
UNEB spokesperson Jennifer Kalule said examination’s body officials will brief Education ministers on the performance of last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) on Thursday January, 16, 2020 at 11am and later release them on Friday
The minister for education and sports, who is also the First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni is expected to be Chief Guest at the function.
This will be the fourth time, Ms Museveni releases PLE results ever since she was appointed the political head of the ministry in 2016.
