SOROTI– Info coming in from Gweri, indicates that, the Teso celebrated photographer and Daily Monitor Scribe, Simon Naulele, will throw away his beloved Yashika Camera and bolt to Gweri Sub County to join the political queue for the juicy Gweri Sub County seat come 2021.

The seat is currently occupied by the pencil-thin Peter Ebau, who is likely to join the newly created Awaliwal Sub County, where he hails from.

Naulele, formerly of Vision Group, joined Daily Monitor in what those in the know call, ‘in search for greener pasture’.

In 2016, this pot-bellied rib-cracker tried his luck for the Eastern Division Chairship to replace Paul Omer who went for Mayorship, but was thoroughly thumped by ‘Mr Comeback’, Esiaru.

“This time, it’s going to be a home affair and I will triumph. It’s going to be a walk-over. I’m only waiting for 2021 whistle and we join the touchline!” the chatterbox told this reporter.

Naulele hails from Owokai village in Abelet parish. He is likely to face off with faded politician, John Michael Omairo of Omugenya parish. Omairo was replaced by Tom Julius Ekudo and Peter Ebau took over from Ekudo, who went for the bigger fish-Soroti County MP but was thumped by Kenneth Esiangu Eitunganane.

For now, we are just spectators and speculators. 2021 will decide.
