AFK beauty Clinic is Kampala’s best location for professional beauty services, Monday Times can exclusively reveal. Located on the bend on the road between Kabalagala and Kansanga, the ultramodern beauty clinic is owned by Madam Gertrude Katatumba.
Today we visited AFK beauty clinic.We were greeted by a monumental sign post at the road side that outlines their services. Walking down the road, we reached the premises. We were welcomed by Madam Gertrude. She is a living definition of courtesy, customer care and modesty.

Within the premises,various employees,busy attending to clients shows why AFK Beauty Clinic continues to attract many clients.Supervised my Madam Gertrude, they do their work with clinical efficiency.
In our interview with Madam Gertrude, she explained to us about their services which continue to attract hundreds of clients each week. Our interview went as follows:
Monday Times: What does AFK stand for in the name AFK Beauty Clinic?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: Angella Franklyn Katatumba.

Monday Times: What kind of services do you have at AFK Beauty Clinic?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: As you have read, this is a beauty clinic. We provide beauty solutions to beauty problems. We are like doctors with a wide range of prescriptions to a wide variety of beauty problems one could have. As a clinic we offer a combination of beauty offerings.

In general we do bridal make up. We prepare brides for their day and ensure that they good for a day that could be the most important day of their lives.

We also do ordinary make up and we do facial. Ordinary make up is different from bridal simply because bridal is for a specific day but they do have similarities.
At AFK clinic we do manicure and pedicure.
Beyond these beauty services, we do different types of massage. We have Aroma Therapy and Swedish Massage.

AFK clinic also does body scrub and waxing, tweezing and razoring.
Finally we have a hair salon that does most of the hairstyles that people would love.

Monday Times: This is very impressive. Compared to other beauty service providers, how different are you?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: Good question. Well the first area we consider ourselves as better than the rest is that we are professionally trained. I am personally a professional beautician, British trained with qualifications in different beauty courses. As such when we work, we are not gambling. We are bent on delivering an excellent service for our clients.
We have very good customer care. The customer comes first for us and we have been able to maintain a good relationship with our customers as we strive to serve them to the best of our ability.

Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: We work from Monday to Sunday from 9am to 8pm. However if a customer would like to be served before or after that time, we are here to do so.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: They are very affordable. We have not heard any complaints about the prices, especially because they match the quality of service that we give.

Monday Times: Do you do mobile services?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: We can discuss that if a client is interested in it. We could reach an agreement on how to do it.

Monday Times: Where are you located?
Madam Gertrude Katatumba: We are in between Kabalagala and Kansanga. We could say near the police station.The most conspicuous landmark near us is Obama Restaurant.
