Almond Spa and Salon is a fantastic spot for beauty services in Kabalagala Kampala. The Spa and Salon is located on Kingsgate Mall, a towering building in the heart of Kabalagala.
In our visit to Almond Spa and Salon, we spoke to Lillian Rachel Lubandi, the manager of the place. She explained to us about their services and gave us a guided tour of the location. It is a highly impressive Salon and Spa.
Our interview with Lillian Rachel Lubandi went as follows:
We offer men’s haircuts, pedicure and manicure, spa, facials, massage, full body scrub, steam bath and many more.
Monday Times: How different are you from others who offer these kind of services?
Lillian Rachel Lubandi: Our products are of a superior quality. Most of them are got from the UK. We also have a good variety of services that others do not have. We are self-contained (we have everything in one place).
What are your working hours and days?
Lillian Rachel Lubandi: We work Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm but we can go extra depending on the customer.On Sunday we work 9am to 8pm.
Monday Times: Do you do outdoor services (or what some call mobile)?
Lillian Rachel Lubandi: Yes we do. We do especially when braiding children,or for bridal services,and other functions.
Monday Times: What advice do you give to your customers?
Lillian Rachel Lubandi: They should check on us weekly.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Lillian Rachel Lubandi: They are affordable and could be classified as follows:
Retouch 35,000; 40,000; 50,000;60,000;70,000; 100,000
Facial 40,000 to 100,000 depending on the products that are used
Full body scrub 40,000 depending on the type
Massage 40,000 depending on the type
Steam bath 20,000
Waxing 20,000 depending on the one you want
These prices can however change, so we advise our customers to keep checking to know the new prices and packages.
