Princess of Beauty Salon Kampala has built a name for itself as a one stop centre for excellent beauty services. Owned by renowned beautician and award winning stylist Ice Kenny, the Salon is located at Sunset Arcade Kampala on the ground floor.

Today we visited Princess of Beauty Salon and spoke to Ice Kenny.Our interview went as follows:

Monday Times: What exactly does Princess of Beauty Salon do?

Ice Kenny: We are a beauty service that aims at satisfying the needs of people who love beauty and fashion. Our slogan is ‘we will make your occasion memorable.’ This is because we do a lot of beauty services for people who are having functions. We do not want their functions to look bad because of poor beauty services. That is why we are here.

We do all hairstyles for women and kids. We do all haircuts for men and kids. We do facials, body scrub, make up, pedicure and manicure and everything else that one needs to be beautiful through a beauty service.

We also have bridal services and services for all other functions like graduations, baby shower and more.

Monday Times: How different are you from those who provide similar services?

Ice Kenny: We are professional and well trained. I forgot to tell you that we do have a beauty school, where we also train people who are interested in learning about beauty services. It is another business.

Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?

Ice Kenny: We work Monday to Saturday from 7am to 8pm. But if a customer wants us to work outside those hours and days, we can make arrangements for that.

Monday Times: Do you do mobile services? Let us say if I am in Kyengera and want you to come and do the hair of many people at my home?

Ice Kenny: Yes we do have that service. You can contact us and we shall be able to do so.

Monday Times: How are your prices like?

Ice Kenny: Our prices are affordable and depend on what someone might want to do. We try to give our clients the best prices.

Monday Times: What should someone who is coming to your Salon know before coming?

Ice Kenny: They should know about the function they are going to do and what it needs. If it is just a casual look we can do it. If it is a wedding then we can do it. We try to make people get the right beauty service.
