Tycoon Patrick Bitature has told the youth of Uganda that wealth is not created overnight but a process that is long and sometimes painful. Bitature who recently had a book launched about him, says that the youth of today are not willing to wait patiently.
“The youth of today want to drive the cars that people who have worked for twenty years drive. They also want to build houses that those who have worked for thirty years build. These things take a lot of time,” Bitature said.
Narrating to journalists how he started with his small shops and grew them into big enterprises, Bitature now owns the massive Naguru Sky Hotel which is carrying the Marriot brand.
Renowned for his motivational talks, Patrick Bitature has made a fortune investing in different parts of Africa, including Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria.
