Singer Bebe Cool has finally entered his long awaited mansion in Kiwatule, with this achievement crowning 2018. The ‘Wasibukawa’ singer entered the house this week, with a party made for devoted Gagamel fans.
“I have done what they said I would not do. They can visit me and prove that those who laugh last laugh best,” Bebe Cool said.
The house which spans several bedrooms is believed to have cost over Uganda Shillings Five Hundred Million. Having stalled for several years, it had become a laughing matter from Bebe Cool’s detractors in the music industry in Uganda.
When asked to comment about the house, Zuena Kirema, Bebe Cool’s wife shied away from speaking and only gave a quick comment,
“I thank my husband for his commitment to developing himself and his family. This is a milestone for us.”
Land and houses are treasured in Uganda where rent is despised as a sign of lack of progress.
