Alysha’s Jeans is a modern denim store with a wide variety of jeans and other casual garments. Conveniently located at Mabirizi Complex in the centre of town, Alysha Jeans is a one stop centre for high quality jeans in Uganda.
We visited the store to understand what they supply to their esteemed customers. We spoke to the management who told us about their work.
Monday Times: Good afternoon Sir. You have a fantastic store here. What exactly do you sell?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: We are mainly a denim store. We sell almost entirely jeans. We have Jean Pants, Jean Skirts, Jean Tops, Jean Shirts, T-Shirts, Khaki Pants, Sweat Pants, Sweat Shirts, and ladies Tops.
Monday Time: Looking at the products you sell, there are some other stores that do sell the same. How different can you say you are?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: We are very strong on good fine quality at reasonable prices. Our pants are actually not Chinese like other stores. The market is flooded with Chinese products. Our items are instead authentic branded denims.
Most shops around sell for either male or female. For us we sell for both.
We are also accessible bearing in mind that we are in the city centre. So whoever wants to find us can find us convenient.
Monday Times: How wide is your variety?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: We have a wide variety of colors and brands. We have almost 200 brands here. Our items are mainly single piece items. It means you cannot wear something from here and find someone just wearing the same next door.
Monday Times: When it comes to size, can we say you have sizes for everyone?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: Yes we have. But I need to emphasize that we have garments for only adults.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: We work from 8am to 7pm every Monday to Saturday. On Sunday we are normally off, but we can only be here on appointment.
Monday Times: Do you do delivery to clients who may want items delivered?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: We do not normally do delivery because we want them to come and fit and get the right garments. We are brick and mortar. But for those who want delivery, we can always discuss and see the circumstances. There are those who want us to deliver wholesale to where they are say in Arua. We can talk about that.
Monday Times: How can a customer determine Jeans which are fake or not?
Management of Alysha’s Jeans: It depends. You need to carefully study the material and see if it is authentic. We appeal to people to actually carefully select their garments.
