Uganda’s popular female comedian Anne Kansiime has commenced her reality show dubbed Chronicles Of Obuntu.
The show is aimed at sharing her real-life experiences and neutralize the biased news in media about her.
The show focuses on her life-experiences and her day to day life that she wants to inform her fans.
For a start, the show will be an Online Reality show and maybe it will show on TV soon.
She is among the East African celebrities to have a reality show after the success of Kenya’s Being Bahati which Bahati Kenya stars.
The first episode of her show features her boyfriend, also artiste, Skylanta Uganda.
The two were on a journey to Germany where she was performing alongside Njugush of Kenya in a comedy show.
With over 669k subscribers on YouTube and close to two million likes on her Facebook page, Anne Kansiime has such a huge following online.
We have had several reality television series before that did not last long despite having a huge following after being launched.
Bobi Wine had one with his family, Zari Hassan too shared her life with us at some point but all these shows died out after a short period.
The difference between them and Kansiime’s shows is that it is YouTube focused and will be watched by her online followers most. She plans to make it last for a really long time.
We are not sure as yet if she has intentions of putting it out onto television but we shall be letting you know as it develops.
