Arsenal has beat Swansea City 2-1 in the English Premier League match played at Emirates Stadium on Saturday after thumping Everton 5-1 last week.
Despite having little possession in the first half, Swansea took the lead through Sam Clucas’ neat finish (22) from Tammy Abraham’s superb through ball.
Arsenal leveled through Sead Kolasinac after the break (51), before Aaron Ramsey summed up the game with the winning goal with a guided left-footed effort from eight yards.
The host have won five of their Premier League matches at the Emirates and go up to fourth position on the log, while Swansea is down in 17th position.
The visitors scored the opener against the run of the midfielder Clucas, who had started the game at left wing-back, tucking the ball through Petr Cech’s legs after Abraham had found him with a fine pass behind the Arsenal defence.
“Again we have showed the mental strength to come back and win the game,” said Arsene Wenger, who enjoyed victory in his 800th Premier League game.
“I’m convinced that we have proved people wrong at Everton, Norwich and today and that can only make the team stronger,” Wenger added.
Arsenal’s Ramsey scored his 50th goal for the club and secured a fourth successive win in total, and came at the end of a testing week off the pitch, with shareholder’s concerns at Thursday’s annual general meeting.
