Monday Times: What services should one who comes to Ayan Hair Klinic and Spa Maganjo expect?
Director: Well we offer a wide range of services for both men and women because we are a unisex Salon. We also do the same for children. We do all hair cuts for men and women and we do all hairstyles for men and women as well. We have very good services of pedicure and manicure, make up, facials, and bridal. Our offer also has training for basic practical skills in hair dressing and bridal services. However we are in the process of setting up an ultra modern facility to carry out other forms of training related to beauty services. When we are ready with the facility we shall make it known to the public.
Monday Times: This is impressive. So considering that some other people offer beauty services, how different are you from others who do the same?
Director: Our point of difference is vast. We are a classy and trendy beauty parlor yet we are very affordable. We charge rates that are suitable for the clientele of the area. Our customer care is fantastic as our clients have always made known to us. We give a lot of attention to our customers to make sure that they are fully satisfied.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days, if someone would like to come for your services?
Director: We work from Monday to Sunday 8am to 10pm. On public holidays namely: IDD and Christmas, we work half day because although we would like to be off, we have found out that many customers want to be served before they go for the festivities.
Monday Times: Great. Do you offer mobile services?
Director: Yes we do. We can come to where our clients are and we have the transportation to do so. However we think bridal services are the ones we would do mobile services for most because we can reach very far.
Monday Times; With all these great services, how are your prices like?
Director: They are affordable and customized.
Monday Times: From a practical point of view, if I was buying a cream for my skin, what advice would you as a beauty specialist parlor give me?
Director: Interesting question. The matters of the skin are complex, because we all have different types of skin. Some people are allergic to some products. For example if you have facial massage, you could use honey, citrus, yoghurt and other materials but not all types of skin would warmly welcome them. Some would react. So one needs to get to learn a lot about their skin.
It is also very important to check the expiry date of beauty products, because many of them actually expire. That is why at our place, we do not buy too many at a time. We buy in small bits and when they are finished we acquire more.
Monday Times: Fantastic. Now if someone is coming to you for your services, what would you want them to know?
Director: Well we are able to accommodate a large number of people because we have two branches. We take appointments for especially bridal services and services that take a lot of time. The rest usually walk in. We are very professional and have good customer care.
Monday Times: Where are you located?
Director: We are in Maganjo. The first branch is in between Maganjo and Kagoma at Kafida Building Opposite Oil Libya Petrol Station while the second branch is in Kagoma at Ave Maria Building near Uganda Cooperative Savings and Credit Union.
