Boss Travel is the leading service provider of travel services in Uganda. Conveniently located in the middle of Kampala City, the agency, which also has branches in Dubai and Nairobi, has established itself in the travel market with distinction.
We visited their office and spoke to the management who told us more about what they do.
Monday Times: What exactly does Boss Travel do?
Management of Boss Travel: We are a tour and travel agency. We offer travel services to our customers. These travel services include air ticketing for all Airlines and to all destinations. We are most importantly the official representatives of Dubai Visa. This means whoever wants a visa to Dubai gets it from us. Even all the other agents that offer this visa ultimately get it from us. We also do hotel bookings, airport pick ups and holiday packages.
Monday Times: What does someone need to get the Dubai Visa?
Management of Boss Travel: They need a valid passport and the fees required which we can communicate to them if they come here or call us.
Monday Times: What makes you different from other people who offer these services?
Management of Boss Travel:We have the exclusive Dubai Visa. Our customer care is very good. We also get Express Visas for people. We get Visas to all countries of the world. We also do destination handling and have branches in Dubai and Nairobi that enables this. Destination handling includes ground handling services.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Management of Boss Travel: We work every Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm. We also work on Saturday from 8.30am to 1.00pm.
Monday Times: Do you have mobile services?
Management of Boss Travel: Yes we do. Our clients can call us to where they are and then we can go and serve them there. They can always pay in the bank or by mobile money. We send an invoice then they pay.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Management of Boss Travel: Our prices are reasonable and depend on the services that are required.
Monday Times: Do loyal customers get any benefits from you?
Management of Boss Travel: Yes we extend them credit facilities, and we do delivery of their tickets where applicable. We also always update them on available offers. They get discounts on tickets. We also make them priority customers on specific flights ad register them on frequent flyer programs.
