They say when it rains in trouble it pours, it does not just rain. This can be said of the man of God Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, who is under immense fire after attacking his wife and getting another woman on the side. Bugingo who has got a huge following at his House of Prayer Minsitry is also seeing dwindling numbers, that are worrying even his own inner circle.
But before we get into this, today was a terrible day for Pastor Bugingo who as blasted by Pastor Wilson Bugembe for degenerating into arrogance and becoming a bad example to his church. Bugembe says that although he finds that Pastor Bugingo is a good man, he still finds that he has some weaknesses that need to be addressed for the good of his church.
“Pastor Bugingo has been taken over by arrogance. He now has crowds of people and has a lot of money. He has mistaken this for power and the opportunity to abuse anyone he sees around. What we need to know is that all these things are given by God and you need to remain level headed” Bugembe said.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe was speaking on NBS Television’s Mission 3:16 show hosted by Olivia. He said Pastor Bugingo had made a grave mistake to leave his wife and go for a side dish, yet that is against the bible that he subscribes to.
“I think it is not too late for Pastor Bugingo to wake up and come back to his senses and rescue the situation. He just needs to apologize to his wife and move closer to God,” Bugembe added.
As if that was not enough, a few hours earlier, Pastor Mutaawe one of the elders in Pastor Bugingo’s Church, and a Senior Pastor and confident of the Pastor appeared to disown him in a sermon where he implied that he did not support what was going on. The mixed messages were sent out to the audience who started murmuring in tongues, making our reporter who covered the events to be puzzled.
“If Pastor Mutaawe has also seen that Bugingo is wrong, may be it is really time for him to wake up and repent,” the reporter said.
