Sources at embattled Pastor Aloysius Bugingo’s House of Prayer Ministries claim unidentified people claiming to be his representatives have rushed to amend the registration details for House of Prayer Ministries at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URS) at the heart of Kampala.
“As we were going about our business, we were alerted that some people had gone to URSB to change the registration details of the church. Currently Pastor forcefully inserted the names of Pastor Edward Kayizi into the registration certificates along with his secretary/receptionist called Immaculate Babirye, something that Pastor Teddy has been complaining about. He also recently bought a car for Pastor Kayizi, yet he (Kayizi) is running his own Harvestors Church in Makindye. We are wondering why this is happening, yet Kayizi only appears on radio and television with Pastor Bugingo,” the Church insider who has been providing information to this newspaper said.

The Church Insider adds that whereas House of Prayer Ministries has elders of good standing such as lawyers, bankers, businessmen, engineers and more, they were shocked to see people added to the registration without their knowledge and whose competencies were doubted. There are fears that they could have been added because they shall be easily manipulated. This has provoked more murmurs in the congregation.
The events at URSB this morning caught some staff off guard questioning why the changes were taking place amidst the recent incidents ongoing at the Church. In our attempts to verify the events, we called URSB and some members of the Church who all declined to comment, sparking more suspicion.
“We also went to URSB and found some two employees who said this was true, but they are not willing to divulge any more details because it will cost them their jobs,” the Church insider adds.
In a related development, a one Simon Peter Wacha, alleged to be the head of the Celebrated Pastor’s security detail is alleged to have gone to Kajjansi Police Station to determine the contents of Pastor Teddy Bugingo’s statement today. The police refused to divulge details, and he left empty handed.
“Simon Peter tried to access Mummy Teddy Bugingo’s statement, but we do not know what the intentions for this were. We are going there to find out and then we shall let you and the congregation know,” the source at Church rounded off.
The fall out between Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his wife Pastor Teddy Bugingo has split the Church into two, and is threatening the moral foundation on which the church is built, as potential members from the outside question how a Senior Pastor could abandon his wife he has been with for the last 29 years.
