Pastor Teddy holds the key to bringing back followers

House of Prayer followers are steadily crossing over to other churches, evidence from different churches around town show.

A Senior Pastor, who used to worship at Pastor Samuel Kakande’s Church has told this newspaper that his church which is not so far away from House of Prayer, and Pastor Kakande’s church are the biggest beneficiaries from the fall out at House of Prayer Ministries.

“We can tell because many cars bearing Salt FM stickers have been coming to our church for prayers. Our security personnel are under instructions to remove the stickers, and basing on what we are seeing, they are definitely several people must have left his church,” the Pastor said.

The current scandals have affected Bugingo’s church to the extent that the pious first family became very concerned about it.

According to a source at the Church, Bugingo used to collect 32 million shillings every week.  This week, his collections have gone down to 7 million. The numbers in attendance are also worrying. In one visit to the Church, this reporter saw a paltry 30 people in attendance. Susan Makula Nantaba who was in attendance was shedding tears as the crowds that she thought would be hers have gone away.
