Capital Radio has injected Shs100M (advertising package ) into Ykee Brenda’s upcoming Singa concert.
Wycliff Tugume alias Ykee Benda’s concert is slated for 29th March at Serena Hotel.
Speaking after signing a partnership agreement with the Capital Radio, Chief Executive Officer Peter Jackson Mungoma said this is to help promote young artist on the block like Ykee.
“Capital FM has been supporting Ugandan Music for the last 25 years. And over the years we’ve seen several artists grow and develop, have grown into international artists and all play different genres of music. But Ykee Benda, his music is particularly special because it speakes about the Ugandan society, it speaks about the everyday life” said Mungoma
On the 30th, Ykee Benda will entertain his fans at Mukono Sate light beach and will have another concert at Freedom city on the 31st of this month.
“This career began about three years ago, and Capital, has been right there with YKEE BENDA. I am very excited to tell the world that I have one of the best partners on board that is Capital FM” Benda told this reporter.
He is promising to give his fans a great performance at the concert
“Thank you so much for the love, I can’t wait to see you, what I have prepared for you, you won’t see coming. I am really ready for you Uganda,” Benda said.

“When I started out my music, this was the radio I came to; you know to share my music first. And It’s been love, it’s been support all the way, it’s exciting. They’ve stood up for me every time , and I can’t wait for what’s gonna happen because when Capital is on board, Ykee Benda is gonna blow”.
