We spoke to the management of Capital Kitchen who told us about their wonderful service.
Monday Times: You have a fabulous place here. What can someone who comes here expect to receive whenever they do come?
Management of Capital Kitchen: Well we are a multi-cuisine restaurant with a wide range of menu to offer. We serve food and drinks and have breakfast, lunch and supper. Our dishes range from local to foreign dishes from different cultures. We are in the centre of Kampala which makes it very accessible for most of our customers to come and have a good time with us.
We have conference facilities and our restaurant has often served as a meeting venue and venue for parties and other social functions.
Monday Times: Interesting. In your view what makes you different from others
Management of Capital Kitchen: We have a lot of things, and we cannot pinpoint one particular aspect of our operation that makes us different. Rather we look at the menu which is one of a kind, serving a wide variety of things. We have very good chefs and some of our chefs are celebrity chefs. We also do have great customer care and our food tastes really good.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Management of Capital Kitchen: We work from Monday to Sunday and open at 7.30am and close at 11pm. But we shall soon open a roof top bar which will make us open for twenty four hours a day.
Monday Times: Do you do outside catering at all?
Management of Capital Kitchen: Yes we do outside catering.
Monday Times: Do you charge for venues for parties or meetings?
Management of Capital Kitchen: It depends. For conferences we do and for some social events we may not charge but the clients would have to order their food and beverages from us.
Monday Times: Interesting. So how do you describe where you are located?
Management of Capital Kitchen: We are located on Jinja Road at Thobani House, Third Floor. We are a few metres from former Nandos.
