In the middle of Kampala City, Charlie’s Hair Clinic is serving hundreds of clients daily with beauty services. They have excellent customer care and their service is great according to customers we found at the premises.
When we visited them, we spoke to Mr.Charlie, the owner of the Hair Clinic, who told us about their work.
Monday Times: What exactly does Charlie’s Hair Clinic do?
Mr.Charlie: We do all hairstyles for women and girls. All haircuts for men and boys. We do bridal. Training. Mobile Service (outside service) mostly like on Saturday I am ever out. Make up, facial.
We also sell beauty products a variety of them.
Monday Times: How different are you from others?
Mr.Charlie: We are experienced. I have spent over 15 years doing this work so I understand customer needs and how to satisfy them. I started my work with Lady Charlotte which was one of the biggest beauty houses in Uganda for many years.
We also give our all to our customers. We want them to get value for their money.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Mr.Charlie: We start our day at 8am until when my customers leave from Monday to Saturday. But if I have bridal on Sunday, I come and open. We do not work on Sundays to allow our workers to work because they do not have off days.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr.Charlie: They are affordable and negotiable.
Monday Times: Do you do mobile services?
Mr.Charlie: Yes I do mobile services. I go out and do people’s hair from where they are.
Monday Times: What advice do you give a woman who wants to have good quality hair?
Mr.Charlie: It depends on someone hair. Some of them their hair is naturally bad while others it is good.
So we advise them to come here and we see what types of hair they have. Then we can find a solution.
