Cheries’ Salon and Spa is a fantastic beauty centre located at Capital Shoppers Ntinda in Kampala.
In our visit to the Salon and Spa, we were welcomed warmly by the staff, who made us feel at home. The place has great customer care, it is hygienic and has a wide range of beauty services that any man, woman or child can be satisfied with.
We asked the staff questions related to the Salon and Spa, starting with the Salon.
About the Salon
Monday Times: What exactly does Cherie’s Salon do?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: We do all hairstyles, and haircuts for men, women and children. We also do bridal services, make up, manicure and pedicure, Gel nails and many more.
Some of the things we have are Cherie Basic Hair Care which has basic wash, energy wash and set, basic wash and blow dry, energy wash and blow dry, iron, iron weave, weave wash and set, dry set, styling, styling occasion guests, hair oiling regular, hair oiling kera care, Tongs and more.
We have Cherie Kids Corner where we offer wash and dry, kids corn rolls small, kids corn rolls medium, kids corn rolls large, kids relaxer kit, kids relaxer kit own, kids nails, and kids haircut.
Another package we have is the Cherie Hair Relaxer Retouch. Here we have Affirm, Dark and Lovely kit, Dark and Lovely Super, TCB, Dr Miracles, Mega Growth, Olive Oil Large Kit, Olive Oil Short Kit, Tea Tree, Vital, Vital Sensitive Kit, Amal Kit, Miadi, Motions, Venus, and Own Relaxer.

In the Cherie Make up and eyebrow bar category, we have powder, eyebrow and lipstic; foundation, powder, eyebrow, lipstics, make over own products, foundation, powder, eye brow, lipstick and eye shadow, Cherie full make over, razor eye brown shape, tweezer, tweezing with definition.
Cherie Hair Dye includes color ray, color ray highlights, full head head henna long, henna short and shampoo dye.
Men Barber Services category has haircut, beard trim, facial scrub, and women haircut.
Nails Bar also has gel nails, manicure, pedicure, pedicure electrical, nail trim, nail trim and paint, and men pedicure.
In the area of Cherie Hair Braiding and Cornrows, they have pencil small, pencil medium, pencil large, twist small, twist medium, twist large, 3’s small, 3’s medium, 3’s large, box braid, weave on full head, weave on per line, dread locks long, dreadlocks short, repair dreads, unplaiting braids small, unplaiting braids large, unplaiting braids medium, and weave on and corn rolls.
We also do training to students who want to learn how to beautify people. We do this training at an affordable cost.

Staff of Cherie’s Salon: We work from Monday to Sudan.
Monday to Thursday we start at 9.30am and end at 9.00pm
Friday to Saturday we start at 8.00am and end at 9.00pm
Sunday we start at 9.30am and end at 9.00pm
We also work on public holidays. But on Christmas and Boxing Day we work half day,
Monday Times: Do you do delivery, that is to say can you go to where someone is to do their hair or other beauty services?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: We do deliver on order but we have to agree on the price and time needed to do what the client needs.
Monday Times: What advice would you give someone who is trying to do their hair?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: We advise the customer to first know about their hair and what they want.
About the SPA
Monday Times: What does the Spa do?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: The Spa is to help a person to become beautiful. We do body massage, facial, waxing, and body scrub.
Inside these we have packages like relaxing massage, neuro-muscular therapy,hot stone massage, aromatherapy massage, swedish massage, four arm massage, fertility massage, Indian head massage, half body massage, atenatal (pregnancy massage); back, neck and head massage and many more.
We then have facials where we have Cherie Ice facial, signature facial, purifying facial, clear skin facial, and mini facial.
Under body scrub (exfoliation) we have cherie full body mint scrub, coffee body scrub, organic coconut body scrub, purify body scrub, body rush, dry body polish and many more.
For waxing we have under arm, eyebrows, chin, cheeks, upper lip, full face, full body waxing, full legs, half legs, full arms, half arm, bikini, brazilian, back and chest waxing.

We are very clean and hygienic.

Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: We work from Monday to Saturday, we open at around 9.30am exactly at 9pm. But on Sundays we open at 9.30am and we close at 7pm.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Staff of Cherie’s Salon: They are affordable and they depend on what the client needs. When you call us you can talk to us and we see how to go about it.
If someone is coming to the SPA for the first time, what advice can you give them?
Sometimes we do for them an offer and after that we advise them to keep on coming. Offer is a discount. Like relaxing could be UShs. 50,000 but we can do it for him or her at UShs 40,000. Relaxing is a type of massage. It is normally done for someone to relax instead of doing massage for a specific back problem.
