Manchester City’s star player Sergio Aguero is planning to quite the club citing mistreatment from Pep Guardiola, his manager. Aguero who is so far City’s all time leading scorer says Guardiola appears to have a personal vendetta against him, for which he might have to vacate the club.
“Aguero is totally unhappy. He believes that for some reason Pep is treating him unfairly, yet he is giving his all to the club. His view is that he should just leave,” a source told the goal.com website.
Sergio Aguero had earlier this year resolved to quit the club after stating that Guardiola appeared to be against him. However, Khaldoon Al Mubarak, the chairperson of Man City stepped in to resolve the issue.
Guardiola has said that he has no personal issues with Aguero who he values as a good player.
“I have no problems with Aguero. In fact, he is a central part of my plans. He has done well and he is continuing to do well, so why should I send him away,” Guardiola told the press when asked about their relationship.
Guardiola has also said that he is not going to sign any player that will take up a similar role as Aguero or Gabriel Jesus.
