Deno Bee, is a fast rising musician, who is set to conquer Uganda and beyond. As he plans for his maiden concert, we spoke to him about his life and career, which we present in this interview.
Monday Times: Hello Deno Bee. What are your real names?
Deno Bee: My real name is Denis Beingana,
Monday Times: How do you describe your music
Deno Bee: I sing R&B.

Monday Times: When did you start singing?
Deno Bee: I started singing a long time ago, when I was in Primary Three. I used to also sing in my church. At the time, I was singing both secular and gospel music. But I only started doing professional music four years ago. When I started doing so, I found out that it was better to leave gospel to break through the current music industry.
Monday Times: Who inspired you to become a musician?
Deno Bee: I was inspired by American Singer Joe Thomas. He mainly sings R&B.
Monday Times: What do you normally sing about?
Deno Bee: I sing contemporary messages in my music, mainly to do with love.
Monday Times: What challenges have you faced as a musician?
Deno Bee: Well, there are many, but one of them is difficulties with dealing with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA). Many times they remove my posters because they want money yet I am an upcoming artiste who has very little money. Besides that, Ugandans tend to support musicians who have made their names, yet we as up coming artistes require their support most.
Monday Times: Which artist do you feel you would like to make a collabo with?
Deno Bee: I would like to record with Bobi Wine, Spice Diana, and Sheebah, I like them because they sing good music ,they love people, and they inspire other people to become like them. Outside Uganda, I would like to work with Busy Signal from Jamaica.
Monday Times: You have a concert on the 16th of November 2019. What should your fans expect at the concert?
Deno Bee: I would like them to enjoy my concert. This is my first concert. New songs will be presented. I am going to have many good musicians such as Nutty Neithan, Dan Morris, Ibra Ssenyonga, Apex K, Philip, Scovia Mulumba, Kim Kaision and many more. This is a sign that we have a lot in store.

Deno Bee: My manager is Kabenge George (DJ Marsh).
Monday Times: What is your phone number for business?
