At the centre of Bukoto is a grand confectionery called Divine Touch Confectionery. It is owned by Mrs Eunice Winyi.

Strategically located on the Bukoto-Kisaasi Road, a few metres from Kabira Country Club, Divine Touch Confectionery has built a pedigree for supplying exceptionally good quality cakes.
We visited the confectionery and spoke to its management about what really sets them apart from the rest of those who make cakes in the country.
Monday Times: Why did you choose the name Divine Touch Confectionery?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: Well, the founders of Divine Touch Confectionery are God fearing people, who decided to put God first in the business. It means that our business is a business of true service, honesty and integrity. What we promise is what we deliver, we do not cheat people.
Monday Times: What types of products or services does Divine Touch Confectionery have?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: We make and bake all kinds of cakes for all types of functions. We make cakes for graduations, weddings, introductions, give aways, birthdays, anniversaries, baptism, confirmation, baby shower and all kinds of special occasion cakes.
We also do training of people who would like to learn how to make cakes.
Training of wives of UPDF soldiers on a World Bank Skill Development Fund (SDF) through Private Sector Foundation of Uganda (PSFU)
We offer cake decorating and personal empowerment sessions for adults in addition to the other products we offer. For these services, we have been privileged to work with Mrs Mable Kiggundu a Human Resource Consultant in offering these services.

Monday Times: How different are you from others who offer these kinds of products?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: Creativity and Innovation takes precedence in our work. Our cakes are extraordinary. They are tailored to taste. We are very experienced and highly professional.
We started in 1997 so we are very experienced. We are talking about 21 years and counting of offering these products.
Monday Times: What are your opening hours and days?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: We open from 7am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday.
Monday Times: Do you do delivery services to your esteemed clients?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: Yes we do. We also take cakes to the wedding venues. For many special functions we can also work out an arrangement so that we can deliver it on time. For us to deliver, we can have a discussion and agree how to go about it.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: Our prices like are affordable. We are willing to discuss the budget so that we get for you the right price.
Monday Times: Do you make cakes in all colors and shapes and flavors?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: Yes we do.
Monday Times: What is the deadline for someone to book a cake for their function?
Management of Divine Touch Confectionery: For the birthdays, we book a day before, for the big functions, we need at least two to three months before.
