Elite Bridals is a fantastic bridal service centre located at Kampala Boulevard Building in the heart of Kampala City, opposite the main post office (Posta).
The bridal boutique is owned by Madam Nancy Kiwanuka, an expert in bridal services. She has operated her bridal business for over nine years making her very experienced in bridal service.
We visited the boutique today and found Madam Nancy Kiwanuka, who spoke to us about their work and products.
Our interview which was conducted as she attended to very many clients went as follows:
Anne Nanyonga: You have a fantastic bridal boutique. How did you come to name it Elite Bridals?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: Elite means extremely sophisticated. We chose the name because we wanted to emphasize the quality of products and services. When you visit Elite Bridals, you should expect a very high quality of service and products.
Anne Nanyonga: What exactly does Elite Bridals do?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: We supply a wide range of bridal products to our customers. We have gowns, changing dresses, tiaras, clutches, gloves, veils, crowns, bags, shoes, jewelry, gomesis, Indian Saris (Mshanana) and many other accessories.
But our biggest product is elite cards. Cards for the functions that are of a high quality, to make a difference for your function.
Anne Nanyonga: How different are you from other bridal services?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: We pride in excellence. We want to satisfy our clients and do more than they expect of us.
Anne Nanyonga: What are your working hours and days?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8.30pm. However if a client is on the way, we wait until the client arrives. We can also come on Sunday on request.
Anne Nanyonga: How are your prices like?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: Our prices match the quality of products, however we made sure that they are affordable and within the means of our clients.
Anne Nanyonga: Do you do delivery?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: Yes we do, although in some cases it might be necessary for the client to come over and try out the outfits and also see what could be available.
Anne Nanyonga: What should someone who is coming to shop at Elite Bridal have in mind?
Madam Nancy Kiwanuka: First of all, they should expect a high quality of service. Secondly, they should know the theme colors of their functions, especially if they are going to buy changing dresses. Thirdly they should have a budget in mind, so that we can choose an option that is right for them.
