Ronald Koeman now the ex-Everton manager has been sacked after Sunday’s 5-2 defeat to Arsenal in English Premier League (EPL)  at Goodison Park.

The Dutchman has been relieved of his duties at Goodison Park after 16 months, paying the price for dropping into the relegation zone which left them with just eight points from their first nine games.

Expectations were raised ahead of the season after a £150m summer spending spree, although they did lose leading goalscorer to Romelu Lukaku and have faced five of last season’s top six in the Premier League already.

“Nevertheless, with £140m I spent in summer, many were expecting Everton to better in premier league, but things turned to be worse on the team”, Koeman says.

Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche,  Sam Allardyce, David Unsworth are the contenders for the new vacant post.

‘The former Everton defender David Unsworth is suitable for managing the club and the punters seem to agree, with 25 per cent of bets on the market”, said Farhad Moshiri a shareholder in the club.

Everton fans blame the former manger for failing the team in past games after seeing the team droping to the 18th passion on the E P L log and bottom of their Europa League Group.
