We spoke to Madam Cathy, the proprietor who explained to us about their service and how they can be accessed.

Monday Times: What services does Expertize Salon offer?

Madam Cathy: We offer bridal services, make up, pedicure and manicure, braiding and dreading, hairstyling, facials, mobile services and many more.

We also do training. Since I went through a beauty school and learnt this business professionally, I am in good position to guide those who might be interested in learning. However we do training and internship at a fee.

Monday Times: How different are you from other salons?

Madam Cathy: We are very experienced and versatile when it comes to hair services. We follow trends and ensure that we keep up with developments in the hair service industry. This implies that if our clients come for the latest styles, we are capable of doing them for them.

We have good customer care and make sure that every customer gets the best service they deserve.

Our prices are friendly and we offer the same services at lower prices than someone would get somewhere else.

We are hygienic and ensure that our premises are clean so that each client enjoys our services without fear of infections of any kind.

Monday Times: What are your opening hours and days?

Madam Cathy: We open from Monday to Sunday from 8am to 9pm but in certain circumstances if we are working on a client and it passes our closing time, we can continue until we complete. We also work on appointments so it is not unusual for us to work on someone who might only be free from 9pm to 11pm.

Monday Times: Do you work on kids?

Madam Cathy: Yes we do work on kids.

Monday Times: How are your prices like?

Madam Cathy: Our prices are pocket friendly and depend on the particular service offered. We are quite flexible and offer room for negotiations.

Monday Times: What advice do you give someone who wants to have good quality hair?

Madam Cathy: I would advise them to visit Salons that have genuine products because there are a lot of fake products on the market that ruin hair in the long run. I will also advise them to avoid hairstyles that cause traction at the hairline. I also advise clients to stick to particular hairdressers for particular hair services. Moving around can be detrimental to their hair in the long run.

Monday Times:  Do you do mobile services?

Madam Cathy: Yes we do at a certain fee.

Monday Times: On bridal services, do you go where the brides are to do their hair?

Madam Cathy: We can go wherever the bride is as long as we agree on terms.

Monday Times: Can you do full service (decoration, cake, sound and other services along with salon for brides)?

Madam Cathy: Yes we have trusted connections and we can help the client negotiate and get the best offers.
