Aruu county legislator Odonga Otto has survived a nasty accident on Gulu high way at Katuugo in Nakasongola district.
According to traffic police, the accident happened at around 5:00 am on Friday morning. The MP’s Prado registration number UBA 832S collided with a stuck lorry registration number UAV 837J/UAD 991Q, which had already had an accident the previous night.
Currently the cause of the accident is not yet known since the MP is not ready to speak to police and Journalists.
Otto was on his way from Gulu to Kampala to prepare himself to report for work at parliament as the Christmas holiday is coming to an end.
According to Daniel Wandera, a journalist, the MP is at Bishop Ceaser Asili Hospital in Luwero receiving immediate attention. However he will be transferred to Kampala later on for more treatment.
The MP is currently suffering pain in the right shoulder, pain in the chest, hip and a few fresh wounds on his body.
A parliament ambulance is already at Bishop Ceaser Asili Hospital waiting for next instructions.
