Flash Bridal Wardrobe is a multipurpose bridal shop offering bridal products to its customers.They have two branches, one in Kiwatule and one in Nakasero.
Today we spoke to Madam Grace Kamuli the manager of the bridal shop. She told us about their products and services which has brought many customers to them.
Monday Times: What exactly does Flash Bridal do?
Madam Grace Kamuli: Flash Bridal supplies bridal wear and accessories. We have gowns, changing dresses, flower girl dresses, maids, kaftans, tiars, and veils. We also have traditional wear such as Mshanana for Western Uganda and Rwanda. We can also organize for gomesis for a client who might want them.
We hire and we sell gowns. If you hire a gown we give you the tiara, Stiffle, the veil and the gloves. If you buy a gown we just sell the gown as it is.
We have shoes, we have bags and we have other bags for ordinary use.
Monday Times: What makes you different from others?
Madam Grace Kamuli: We have very good customer care and we try as much as possible to make the bride look good on their special day.
We have good quality gowns.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days
Madam Grace Kamuli: We open at 7.30am and close at around 8.30pm. But if a customer calls us and says that she is coming after 8.30pm we can wait for her to serve her. Monday to Saturday.
Monday Times: Can you go and dress the bride where they are?
Madam Grace Kamuli: Yes we can go if at all we agree on the terms or we can train two people who will be with the bride so that they are able to dress her.
But we also have a dressing room where we can dress the bride on the way to where they are wedding from.
Monday Times: What should someone who is coming to your bridal shop to buy items know before they come?
Madam Grace Kamuli: They should first of all know their theme colors. Because the changing dress might depend on what the decorators are going to do. They should also know the designs they want. This is because there are those who might want to be full covered or less covered.
Monday Times: There are people who come with photos and they tell you that they want you to help them and order for them those gowns can you do it?
Madam Grace Kamuli: Yes we can if they give us time and they pay for the gown.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Madam Grace Kamuli: They are affordable and depends on what you would want.

Madam Grace Kamuli: We are on Kiwatule Road at Better House shortly after Ntinda. But we also have another branch at Jemba Plaza Room K-78 in Nakasero.
