Former Urban TV news anchor and field reporter Denis Woniala aka Denis Duke has Monday joined NBS television as a fulltime employee after a month of instigation at the Media Plaza.
With the new role at NBS TV, Waniola is looking forward to developing his journalism career and he is ready to face new challenges.
“Today I officially join NBS TV, a subsidiary of Next Media Services,” he posted on his Facebook page on Monday morning.
“It’s time to advance my career as a professional Journalist. To Urban TV, thank you for giving me a platform so help me God,” he added.
Woniala is one of the most promising journalists who has, for a while now, been unemployed after facing the axe at Industrial Area-based Urban Television in 2018.
A journalist and actor, Duke trained as a video editor, then became news reporter and his best position was a news anchor.
