Fik Fameica is slowly fading out of the Uganda Music airwaves as fans now turn all their attention to the New Kid on the block ‘Fresh Kid’.
Fik recently admitted that if Fresh can rap at the age of seven (7) then surely Fresh kid is better than Fresh Bwoy (himself) since he started rapping 8 years ago.
“I started rapping eight years ago while in secondary school. I met Fresh Kid last year and he knew the lyrics to all my songs at such a young age,” Fik said in a television interview
The rapper went on to say that Fresh Kid, if nurtured well could be a shining star not just in Uganda but internationally.
Fik also mentioned that it was him and Wembley Mo who discovered Fresh Kid in Luwero and introduced him to Kampala.
It should be noted that Fresh Kid also mentions Fik Fameica as his role model and became popular for singing Fameica’s songs.
When asked on who he would rather collaborate with between seven-year-old rapper, Fresh Kid and singer John Blaq, Fik chose Fresh Kid over John Blaq.
