Teso province has summoned 38 players a head of the second edition of the FUFA Drum Province league.
The squad is headlined by Uganda Cranes Captain and goalkeeper Denis Onyango who plays his club football at Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa and striker Emmanuel Arnold Okwi who plays in Tanzania’s Simba FC.
Teso Province Chairperson, Dan Odongo says the team is ready to compete for the championship this edition adding that the selected squad is strong and promising.
“Teso province will compete for the championship this edition, the neamed squad is very strong,” he said.
Odongo is also the chairperson North East regional football association.
Teso Province is in Group D alongside Bukedi, Bugisu and Kigezi and they start the campaign away against Bukedi on 31st, March 2019.
