Teso province resurrected with a stunning win over Kigezi province in a fully packed Kongunga High School playground in Bukedea district.
Goals from Isaac Ogwang and Solomon Okwalinga were enough to seal a 2-0 win.
Having initially lost to Bukedi and drawn with Bugisu, Teso now have four points from their opening three games. For Kigezi, they are bottom of Group D having managed only a single point so far.

On Saturday, KCCA FC midfielder Allan Okello was the star of the show as he led his Lango side to a 6-1 victory over Sebei in one of the three FUFA Drum matches played on Saturday.

Okello who was first reported to have left the country for trials but it was later learnt that he had gone to Kenya so as to conduct his Visa interview, before returning to play the Drum game.
On the day, Okello scored three goals and was awarded the Man of the Match accolade for his contributions in the game as Lango registered their second victory of the competition.
Lango’s other goals were scored by URA FC’s Joachim Ojera who helped himself to a brace and Omedi Denis.
For Sebei, Simuyu Eric struck their consolation on a day that they were totally outplayed.
