Gyptian to console Taurus Riley fans with December concert in Uganda

Leading Jamaican artiste Gyptian, will this December do a show in Uganda. The highly billed artiste shall perform at Peniel Beach Entebbe on December 26, 2017.

A member of the promotion team when speaking to this newspaper said, “we think this will be the perfect boxing day for reggae lovers and all Ugandans and those living in Uganda. Gyptian commands a lot of respect in the reggae circles as you might know,”

His show comes a few days after fans of Jamaican reggae singer Taurus Riley learnt that he would not be performing in Uganda any longer.

Gyptian, real name Windel Beneto Edwards was born on 25 October 1983. He is known for singing in the roots, lovers rock and dancehall reggae sub-genres.

The show has been dubbed Entebbe Reggae Festival 2017.

It will feature Sheeba Karungi and Radio and Weasel with many more other artistes.

There will be exhibition stalls, children’s play ground, art and crafts and Caribbean food. There shall also be face painting at the festival.

Peniel Beach is located before Lido Beach opposite New Spennah Beach in Entebbe.
