We visited the Salon today and spoke to Mr. Maurice, the C.E.O. who told us about the things that make them attractive to various clients who come to the Salon.
Monday Times: What exactly does Hair Zipper Salon do?
Mr. Maurice: We are a multipurpose Salon that does all hairstyles for men and women. We also do make up, pedicure, manicure, weaving, braiding, dreadlocks, shampoo, treatment and more.

For those who want bridal services, they are one of the things we do so well. We do hair dressing for people for all occasions. Whether it is Baby Shower, Kukyala, Introduction (Kwanjula, Okuhingira and others), Wedding, Graduation and more.
We do training for people who love to learn hairdressing at a fee. Many students come here to do internship and they learn and go and do their own thing.
Monday Times: How different are you from others who do this kind of business?
Mr. Maurice: We have very professional people who work with us. We have skilled people and we are very efficient with what we do. We know all the hairstyles that people want.
Monday Times: What are your working hours?
Mr. Maurice: We work from 7.30am until the last customer goes from Monday to Sunday throughout the year. It is good for people who may read this article to book in advance so that at least we schedule them and prepare for them.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr. Maurice: Our prices are affordable and negotiable. We charge according to what you need us to do for you. It is because we understand our customers and want the best for them. We sit down with you and plan your beauty needs before we tell you the cost.
Monday Times: What should someone who is coming to your Salon know before coming?
Mr.Maurice: They need to know what they would like to do. They should know their tastes and preferences and also the function that they may be preparing for if they are preparing for a function. Someone planning for a Kwanjula may not do the hair like someone planning to be in the office the next day.
Monday Times: Where are you located?
Mr. Maurice: We are located in the middle of Kampala City, on Wilson Road at a building called Titanic. We are on Level 2 Room TD 19.
