In the heart of Kabalagala in Kampala is a fantastic bar and restaurant called Hidden Agenda. Offering a variety of services, the bar is conveniently located opposite Shell Kabalagala on Gaba Road.
Today we spoke to Mr.Ronald Sserumaga, the proprietor, who co-owns it with his wife Mrs Bridget Nakayenga Sserumaga. Mr.Ronald Sserumaga explained to us what they do and how they serve their clients.
In a statement issued to this newspaper, the couple spoke at length about how Hidden Agenda had transformed Kabalagala.
“A touch has been added to kabalagala’s night life and day life by hidden agenda bar,lounge and restaurant. The art of lounge and bar makes it a unique party spot for the party goers and revellers. This is evidenced by both corporate and compusers who have regullar frequented this hangout. the hangout has also been identified as a convenient place for birthday,graduation,corporate parties and wedding meetings,” their statement reads.
“The hangout has got a well security managed parking lot for all kinds of rides that a being parked by the revellers .The hospitality extended to clients by the ready awaiting waiters and waitress at the bar makes it a good avenue for one to relax at,” they add.
Monday Times: Why did you name the bar Hidden Agenda?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: We thought of a name that could explain how unique we are, so that people know what we expect. Compared to others, we are unique in how we serve our customers.
Monday Times: What services do you have at Hidden Agenda?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: We have a restaurant and a bar. In the restaurant we serve local foods and snacks. In the bar we serve all types of drinks except Malwa.

This makes everyday a new day in on the party calender. For the soccer and other sports lovers redpepper has learnt from management that plasma screens ,projector and the sophiscated muisic system have been shipped in to add a touch to its already existing systems. Hidden agenda is strategically located just opposite shell kabalagala making it easily accessible to all party goers.
Monday Times: What is your point of difference?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: We are a combination of bar and restaurant which means whoever prefers each can be served at their convenience.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: We work from Monday to Sunday for both the bar and the restaurant. We work for 24 hours.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: Our prices are extremely affordable. Our beers go for UShs 4,000 each except Senator which is lower and Heineken which is higher.
Monday Times: Do you do outside catering?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: Yes we do. We supply snacks to Equity Bank Kabalagala and we can do it for any other client.
Monday Times: How is your security like, considering that you are running a bar?
Mr.Ronald Sserumaga: We have security guards, they come at 6.30pm. We also have security cameras.
