In July 2018, Judith Babirye glamorously wedded her man Paul Musoke Sebulime, a fellow MP from Buikwe district for which the gospel singer is woman MP.

The VP Edward Sekandi was chief guest and many Ministers and MPs witnessed as Sebulime ignored pleas by his wife Nalongo Lukiya Ntale not to abandon her saying she had finally managed to overcome evil spirits that killed her earlier marriage to Sam Niiwo.

The political couple, that has been very rare in parliament, had been living in Kololo and Ntinda in rented properties since money seemed not to be a problem for the previously debt-stricken Babirye anymore.

But knowledgeable sources say the new marriage began developing cracks late last year when Sebulime started complaining that Babirye was too wide and he wanted his space.

It was reported that he started absenting himself from night duties condemning Babirye (who had promised him twins within the first 9 months) to loneliness and depression.

Babirye, who was already at war with voters over Togikwatako, was uncomfortable having to often explain why Sebulime was no longer visible in her company.  She fell ill for things that couldn’t easily be explained medically.

Now fresh media reports reveal that Ssebulime was on Saturday introduced by his first wife Lukia Nantale to her parents at a secret ceremony, which was attended by only a few invited guests and tightly guarded.

It is said that after developing misundertaings with Babirye, Ssebulime apologized to Nantale, his first wife and the two are now planning a wedding.

Meanwhile Babirye is said to have fled to Sweden, where she is cooling off the stress and heartache she suffered after learning that Ssebulime was juggling her with Nantume.

It should be recalled that when Babirye and Ssebulime’s love was blossoming last year, Nantale came out and warned Babirye to stay away from her man.
