Judy’s bridal is a leading centre for supply of bridal gowns, dresses and other accessories in Kampala Uganda. They have been in business since 2010 serving for a very good period of time.
We spoke to Madam Judith Karungi the proprietor who gave us insight about the shop and what it does.
Monday Times: What exactly does Judy’s Bridal do?
Madam Judith Karungi: It hires and sells bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, evening and party dresses, flower girl dresses, and bridal accessories. In bridal accessories we have jewelry, bags, tiaras, crowns,clutches and many more.
One of the services we offer for free is bridal consultation. Here we give advice to brides on the latest styles, designs, embroidery and the choice of dress depending on location. For example if someone is doing a beach wedding, a garden wedding, a hall and many more.
Monday Times: Are you able to dress the entire entourage?
Madam Judith Karungi: We can talk about it.
How different are you from others who do this kind of business?
We try to get quality garments that would not get damaged during your function. We have elegant garments and we have technical know how about everything we sell.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Madam Judith Karungi: We work from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday
Are you okay with going to dress the bride where the function is?
Yes we do that as well.
Monday Times: What advice do you give someone who is coming to buy bridal wear for the first time?
Madam Judith Karungi: We need to know their size, we also need to know the theme colors of the function, and we always prefer that they come here and fit on.
Monday Times: Do you deliver to clients who are away from here?
Madam Judith Karungi: Yes we do but at a small additional cost of shipping
Can you make a special order for someone who has seen something online?
Yes we do that for people.
