Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegei has won gold at the ongoing IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha.
Cheptegei posted 20:40.3 to become Uganda’s first Men’s 10,000m champion.
Cheptegei had a fine build up to the event, having been crowned World Cross Country champion early this year, which he followed up last month with victory in the 5,000m final of the Diamond League in Zurich.
