Ugandan boxing great Kassim Ouma will tomorrow December 3, fight in Germany in what is expected to be a comeback for the fighter.
The low-key fight is expected to attract several Ugandans living in and around the Germany City.
Isaac Omuanah a Ugandan living in the city spoke about the enthusiasm for the fight.
“….all German roads leading to Hamburg on 3rd December 2017! for the fight. Kassim Ouma the CHAMPION will be raising the Ugandan flag once again this time even higher.”
Recently Ouma had been described by a Ugandan website as bedridden. It is not known how he managed to secure the fight from the confines of his bed in Jinja.
Some of Ouma’s record has included the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Junior Middleweight world title. He also won the Light Middleweight division.
Some of the people he has beaten in his career have included Jason Papillion, Juan Carlos Candelo, and Verno Phillips. He has also secured wins against Kofi Jantuah of Ghana.Ouma has also beaten Marco Antonio Rubio, Sechew Powell and Joey Gilbert.
