Kifrose Boutique is a multipurpose clothing and design store that deals in maternity, babies and items for males and females. We talked to the management who told us how they satisfy the needs of their clientele who have been faithful to them since they started business.
Monday Times: What does Kifrose Boutique do as a business?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : Generally our initial plan was to do maternity and children’s car e but over the years we realized that children’s care things are not moving fast because of the competition. The demand was mainly on maternity. I have also included some shoes for men from Italy, some casual wear for men, some women’s shoes and bags.
So at the moment there is a mixture of all. A bit of maternity, a bit of children, a bit of men’s shoes a bit of women’s shoes and bags.
Monday Times: How different are from others who supply the same product?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : First and foremost we have high quality products. We pay critical attention to what we stock so that it lasts for the customer. We import from Italy, US and they are good quality and affordable compared to the same products in the market.
We can place an order for someone but we need to discuss it first because sometimes the suppliers are unreliable. So we try to understand what someone wants and see if we can really get it for them within the specified time that they need it.
Monday Times: What are your working hours?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : We open at 8.30am and close at 8pm Monday to Sunday. On Wednesday we tend to have a different program for the shop in outreach so sometimes we close. But if clients call we can open it on that day to serve them.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : They are affordable but they vary according to the quality of the product.
Monday Times: Do you have a size for everyone?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : We can accommodate different sizes for everyone in the products that we supply. We usually like them to come and we test the products they want so that we see if they fit.
If the sizes are not available we can arrange to get the sizes they want on request.
Monday Times: At what stage do you advice a woman to start using maternity dresses?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : When they are about at least five months, that is when the bump begins to show.
Monday Times: How about for babies, do you advice customers to buy clothes before child birth?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : Yes you should start buying things for the child before they are born.
Monday Times: Do you deliver to customers?
Management of Kifrose Boutique : It is better for them to come and they try the dresses or whatever they want to buy so that they see that it fits them and they can even have a variety from which to choose.
