In our search for bridal services in Kampala, we came across Krystal Bridal a wonderful shop dealing in bridal products.
We spoke to Ms Shinah Yakale the proprietor who did not only welcome us with courtesy and hospitality but told us so many good things about the business and its service to customers.
Monday Times: What does Krystal Bridal really do as a business?
Shinah Yakale: We are a full service bridal outfit hiring and selling bridal wear to our esteemed customers. We have products such as gowns, changing dresses, party dresses, jewelry (necklaces and earrings), bridal shoes, tiaras, and several other accessories.
Monday Times: How different are you from other bridal shops?
Shinah Yakale: The quality of our products is good. We also give customers attention and very good customer care. We are keen to know what you need and then serve you diligently.
I have also been in the business for a very long time, so I know the ins and outs of it, which is valuable especially when you are dealing with customers.

Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Shinah Yakale: We work from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm. We also work on public holidays, because that is when people have more time on their hands to walk around.
Monday Times: Where do you get your products from?
Shinah Yakale: We get our products from the United States of America. I travel to get them whenever I need to.
Monday Times: Do you deliver to clients who are far away from you?
Shinah Yakale: It is a great idea to deliver but the problem is you have to fit the dress through testing maybe different dresses. But when we get a situation like that we can discuss with the client.
Monday Times: Do you go and help the bride to dress what they have hired or bought from you?
Shinah Yakale: Yes if they ask us to we can.
Monday Times: What advice do you give to people who are planning to buy bridal wear?
Shinah Yakale: They should mind about the quality. They should also study the market first. Another thing they should have in mind is the theme colors of their function so that they match.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Shinah Yakale: They are affordable and we have something for everyone.
