LIT Lounge, formerly Diners Bukoto has undergone a grand overhaul making it a fantastic spot for one to spend their evenings and weekends. The Lounge conveniently located on the route from Bukoto to Kisaasi has changed a lot of things but retained the superb quality service that Diners was known for.
We sat down with the management of LIT Lounge, who told us so many good things about the place. We bring you their insights into the lounge.
Monday Times: Tell us a bit about the meaning of your name. What does LIT in LIT Lounge mean?
Management of LIT Lounge: It mean excitement. It is a trendy slang nowadays to mean that it has the experience that fills you with excitement. So when someone says I am at LIT Lounge, we get to know that they are at a place filled with excitement.
By the way, we are former Diners. So it can be easier for people who are reading this to know that we formerly were operating as Diners so if they are looking for us they can simply come to where Diners used to be located.
Monday Times: Interesting. Now that we get a lot of excitement from LIT Lounge what kind of services are in this place?
Management of LIT Lounge: We have different kinds of services, but above all we are a Lounge. We are a place where you can sit and relax as you get entertained through a variety of entertainment items.
We have a bar which offers all types of drinks, whether local or imported. We also have a restaurant that provides snacks and other things to eat. For sports lovers, we have giant screens, where we showcase all their favorite games whenever they occur.
On Tuesday we have a live band. We are also introducing comedy night and other entertainment theme nights.
Many of our clients come to us for parties as well. We can host any kind of party, including graduations, baby shower, birthday parties, engagement parties and so forth.
Monday Times: Do you offer your service outdoors? Meaning, if I want you to come to where I am to offer me your service, is it something that you can readily do?
Management of LIT Lounge: Yes we can, as long as we reach an agreement with you about the price and how you want the service to be offered.
Monday Times: What are your opening hours and days?
Management of LIT Lounge: We open everyday of the week, but mainly from 4.30 in the evening until morning. We hope to be open twenty four hours a day, soon.
Monday Times: How different is LIT Lounge from all the other providers of similar services?
Management of LIT Lounge: We are different in many ways. Our security is very good, we have human security and CCTV Cameras all over. Our Parking Lot is also very big. Inside the Lounge, it is very spacious and we have fancy and comfortable furniture that makes you relax with class. In terms of sound, we have very good sound. Our DJs are on point, they know what to do on a daily basis. In general all our services including customer care are good.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Management of LIT Lounge: Our prices are affordable and it depends on what you are interested in.
Monday Times: For musicians, are they accepted to do video premiers at LIT Lounge?
Management of LIT Lounge: Yes they are. In fact we have already had some.
Monday Times: So how would you describe the location of LIT Lounge?
Management of LIT Lounge: We are in Bukoto, on the way to Kisaasi, former Diners.
