We visit the spot and spoke to Louis the proprietor, who told us about their work.
Monday Times: What does Louis Nail Bar really do as a business?
Louis: We do all kinds of nail designs for women. We do not just end at pedicure and manicure we have different types, colors and designs of nail varnish. We tend to nails, we trim them and we organize them in a way that suits your style and elegance.
Our services include: nail cutting, artificial nails, basin foot scrub, electric spa scrub, gel shellac, ordinary polish, acrylics, acrylics refill and hard gel.
We also advice people on how to tend to their nails as well as what to do to protect their nails from getting damaged.
We can also train people who would want to learn about doing nails and then they can set up their own nail service outfits wherever they are.
Monday Times: How different are you from others who do this kind of service?
Louis: We are professionals. We fully understand our work and do it in the best way possible.
We are also customer sensitive. We pay attention to a customer’s needs which has earned us a good reputation in this business.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Louis: We work every Monday to Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
Monday Times: Do you do delivery (meaning if I want you to come over to where I am to do my nails with those of my friends could you come)?
Louis: Yes I can come as long as we agree on the terms.
Monday Times: How do you advise people to keep their nails healthy?
Louis: You have to maintain your nails if you want them to be healthy. You need to clean them and use materials that can make them remain healthy. Use thick moisturizers for cuticle care. Cuticles are the thin layer of skin near the bottom of the nail, where it connects to the finger. Cuticles often get dry, resulting in peeling and flaking. In order to keep cuticles healthy, apply a thick moisturizer to your cuticles. Ointments and creams are best over typical lighter lotions.
