Major Media Re-launches Kawa FM Online Radio in Style

Bukoto based Major Media a Ugandan Media Group which owns the Monday Times Newspaper and other publications such as Ebbaluwa Printed newspaper, Busoga Express Printed newspaper and Classic Television (CTV) has officially re-launched Kawa FM Online Radio.

According to a press release from the group, audiences online shall be in for a treat after the re-launch.

The station whose tag line is ‘Enyimba z’osinga Okwagala’ ‘the songs that you love’ has been on air since 2012 as a music stream online radio station.

The online radio is going to be back on air officially on Monday 18th March 2019 with line-up of the most talented presenters in town.

Presenters expected on air are:

Bryan Alvinz on the Kawa FM Breakfast Show running from 6 am to 10am every weekday

Nisha Shakira on the Kawoowo Show running from 10 am to 4pm every weekday

Sanic Been on the Kuba Kusanyuka Show running from 4pm to 9pm every weekday

Latifah Aisha on the Amaanyi Ga Laavu Show running from 9pm to 12 midnight every weekday

All the shows will be aired out both in English and Luganda to cater to audiences who are fluent in those languages.

The new format of the station is a visual radio that shall be broadcasting online through a variety of platforms such as the Kawa FM website www.kawafm.com and the Kawa FM Uganda App which is on playstore.

Kawa FM Online Radio is offering exciting prizes such as several gigabytes of data for fans on its Facebook page.

Joel Isabirye, a Media Consultant Guru is behind all the re-branding and programming of Kawa FM.

Isabirye was also behind the establishment of the Nxt Radio owned by Next Media.
