Maroons recorded their second victory of the season by beating Masavu 1-0 in Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) away from home on Tuesday.
The Second half substitute Solomon Walusimbi was the hero of the evening as Maroons records a hard fought victory against Masavu at the Fisheries Training Institute Stadium.
Maroon’s two victories in seven matches have now all come away from home.
Walusimbi, who had replaced striker William Wadri on the 75thminute mark headed past goalkeeper Ali Kiggundu off a teasing delivery from another substitute Pius Obuya.
Prisoner’s side bagged maximum points, the second time in a row following a similar result over Bright Stars at Mwererwe.
Masavu Stricker Robert Sentongo had a headed attempt but was saved by goalkeeper Ashadu Bugembe on 78 minutes.
Before that, Ibrahim Magadah set up striker Ibrahim Mpengere but he hit it over the bar from 10 yards box.
The Maroons player Nsubuga also missed a chance of scoring when his goal bound shot kissed the cross bar before sailing out for a routine goal kick for the visitors.
Masavu also lost away to Soana 1-0 before overcoming Proline by the same margin and lately drawing 2 against UPDF at Bombo.
The club now remains glued at the bottom with 4 points on the log, having suffered their 5th loss of the campaign, the most number of defeats by any side in the league.
Police on Tuesday will regain table leadership if they claim maximum points against visiting Kirinya-Jinja.
