Today we visited Michael’s Beauty Centre a modern beauty parlor located in Ntinda Kampala. The proprietor Mr.Michael spoke to us about their services which include a wide range of beauty options.
We found clients who were visibly excited and they gave us insight as to how Michael’s Beauty Centre has served them over the years.
Our interview with Mr.Michael went as follows:
Monday Times: What exactly does Michael’s Beauty Centre do?
Mr.Michael: We are a full service multipurpose Salon and beauty centre. We do all male haircuts and female hairstyles with finesse. Within these we find braids, treatment, weaves, dreadlocks and many more.
We cater for kids and adults. We do pedicure and manicure.
We also have bridal services. For those in beauty schools we do internship training at a fee.
Monday Times: How different are you from other salons?
Mr.Michael: It is hard to tell but what I know is that we serve our customers well. They are the best to speak about us. We have very good customer care. Our prices are the best in the market because they are friendly and people who have used our services can testify.
We are also accessible. We are very near the road at Ntinda Shopping Centre. For those with cars or those with taxi, it is easy to access.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Mr.Michael: We work every Monday to Sunday from 8am to 10pm. But on Sunday we open at 10am and close at 10pm.
Monday Times: On another note, what advice can you give people to be able to get a good skin?
Mr.Michael: They should drink lots of water. We have some oils that we prescribe, which they can find when they come to us.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Mr.Michael: Our prices are affordable and negotiable. We sit and agree with the client to see what best to get for them at which price.
Monday Times: Where are you located?
Mr.Michael: We are on ground floor Ntinda Shopping Centre (former Quality Supermarket). We are on B13 on that building.
