Patrick Ssenyonjo aka Fresh Kid is the newest youngest rapper on the Ugandan music scene.
The toddler/baby rapper became sensational after a video of him rapping went viral on Internet.
Fresh Kid has so far released not less than 3 songs since he officially joined the music industry.
He is signed under Da Texas Entertainment music label managed by a one Manager Francis.
However, Nakiwala Florence Kiyingi, the Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs is not impressed with the idea of Fresh kid moving around media houses doing interviews instead of focusing on his studies.
In an interview with NBS UNCUT program, the minister advised the management of Fresh Kid to take the toddler to school and stop him from performing.
“That kid should stop performing and moving from one media house to another just in the name of interviews, he should stay at school,” she advised.
“Even the time this kid is always taken out for interviews is not good, you can’t take a kid of that age for an interview at 8am yet he is supposed to attend classes,” she added.
However, a section of Ugandans are not happy with the minister’s submission saying that the negative ideas are intended to kill the Kid’s musical career.
“Nigeria is busy supporting Emmanuella, here we are doing the opposite. Wabula Uganda! Just advise the kid and talk to his management, but don’t kill his talent. Isn’t that how Bow Wow started,” Uganda’s female comedian Agnes Akite said in a Facebook comment.
