Controversial social commentator and Senior Presidential Advisor, Joseph Tamale Mirundi, has this morning blasted Pastor Aloysius Bugingo for taking another wife. Mirundi who was speaking on his One on One Television Program on NBS TV made it clear that Bugingo was going to kill his church.
“A Pastor cannot have two wives, that is the end of his church” Tamale Mirundi said.
The statement which took even his host Kazibwe Bashir aback was a striking revelations of truth that only someone like Tamale could not hold back.
In a related development some members of the church led by one Lawrence Kalema who said they are uncomfortable about the financial issues at the church, are allegedly demanding for accountability from Pastor Aloysius Bugingo, to understand how the money which they contribute is used.Kalema and group are particularly interested in how the money from the fundraising for the Pentagon Building is going to be used.
“When we give our money, we want to know that it will not be used for side dishes, but for actual use in the construction of the church.Right now we see a restaurant being set up for a woman and a house being constructed for the same woman.Where is that money coming from?” Kalema said.
Kalema went on to list some of the assets that are questionable to include:
A restaurant set up for Nantaba, valued at 30 million shillings
7 buildings in different places (as revealed by Pastor Senyonga)
The palace being constructed for Nantaba in Wakiso
Bwino Newspaper (which spends about 20M each month to produce and distribute)
Different cars that he has bought for Pastor Kayizi, his Secretary Babirye, Nantaba’s Maroon Rav 4, and his two harriers and a Prado he recently acquired.
“It is as a result of this that we want a clear accountability” Kalema says.
