Miss Uganda UK Set to jet into the country

Miss Uganda UK Peninah Wampamba will jet into the country this Friday (15th February) for a tourism campaign dubbed ‘Tulambule Ne’diaspora’

Peninah will meet the minister of Tourism, Kiwanda to discuss ideas of selling Uganda to the outsides countries, mostly on issues pertaining creating the Kids’ Friendly Park at the Uganda Museum.

She is expected to do some charity activities which includes donating solar panels to a few selected health centres in Gomba, establishing Medical camps at Uganda’s national Parks to enhance or boost health level among the communities living near and around the gazetted areas. She will also do a donation of scholastic materials to a school of the blind in Gomba.

She is also expected to hold urban tourism tour in order to get equipped with enough knowledge about Uganda’s capital city and Content that Uganda is rich in which is vital in the diaspora.

Peninah who is sponsored by Ugandans in the diaspora will spend a month executing the scheduled activities before jetting back to the UK.

Peninah earlier last year contested as Miss Uganda UK which saw her emerge the winner of the pageant of then.

Peninah is a Ugandan lady living and residing in the United Kingdom having left Uganda at the age of 8 alongside her parents.
