Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) FC star player Muzamir Mutyaba has scooped the Male footballer of the year award at the annual Airtel FUFA Awards.
The Awards ceremony was held at Speke Resort Munyonyo yesterday.

Another big winner of the night was the Airtel FUFA coach of the year Mike Mutebi.
Brian Miiro Nsubuga was announced as Referee of the Year.
Other winners were Dennis Onyango – Fans Favourite player of the year, outside Uganda
Emmanuel Okwi – Fans Favourite player of the year, based in Uganda
Beach Soccer Player of the Year – Nasser Lwamunda (Muteesa 1 Royal University)
Keneddy Kasadha – FUFA Young Referee of the year
The list of the best team by players was listed as follows;
Team of the Year: Isma Watenga (Vipers), Nico Wakiro Wadada (Vipers), John Adriko (SC Villa Jogoo), Halid Lwaliwa (Vipers SC), Rashid Toha (Onduparaka), Tadeo Lwanga (SC Villa/Vipers), Gadafi Gadihno (Onduparaka), Muzamiru Mutyaba (KCCA), Geofrey Sserunkuma (KCCA), Emmanuel Okwi (SC Villa Jogoo/ Simba,Tz), Shaban Muhammed (Onduparaka/KCCA); Coach: Mike Mutebi (KCCA).
KCCA Football Club earned the Fair Play award of the year.
FUFA President Moses Magogo thanked government for its support to the national team.
“I thank the government of the republic of Uganda for the continued financial support towards the national team,” FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo said.
