Today, Pastor Teddy Bugingo, the legal wife of Pastor Teddy Bugingo has been showed with lots of praise by Pastors Robert Kayanja and his wife Pastor Jessica Kayanja, at the marriage retreat at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga Kampala.
The troubled Teddy Bugingo, who has been the subject of ridicule by her husband and who has steadfastly said she will not give up on her marriage, paid a surprise visit to Miracle Centre and her entry brought ululations not only from Pastor Robert and Pastor Jessica, but from the rest of the people attending the session.
As soon as she saw her, Pastor Jessica made the following remarks:
“I almost burst into tears when I saw you walk into the marriage retreat. This is a woman who has refused to put her lamp under a bowl. And we as the women of Uganda, we as the married women of Uganda, are standing with her.”
Likening her to David who stood up against Goliath, Pastor Jessica added that:
“If a marriage covenant is violated, in the Christian leadership of our country, then Goliath has won. And we will become slaves to the Philistines that are fighting our marriages. We cannot allow that. That is an indictment to every marriage in Uganda to the principle of seed, time and harvest.”
In a related development, Pastor Robert Kayanja perhaps the most revered Pentecostal Pastor in Uganda spoke highly about Pastor Teddy’s work and how she has become the defender of the biblical covenant of marriage.
“We are not judging anyone, but this is an insult to what we stand for as the born-again Church of Uganda. If one purported man of God will do it, our children will rise up thinking this is the way to go. That throwing rings in the dust bin, and waking up with a different wife everyday is the way to go. Married people stand up and fight for what is Godly and what is yours,” he said.
Additionally:
“Often times we become pastors before we become Christians. If you have ever become a Christian, and you know you have been saved by grace and the love of God, and you know there is a savior, you will treat each other with respect. Do not confuse lust with love. Brother, you are born-again, if any man is in Christ Jesus, he becomes a new creature. The old things pass way, and behold the new have become. One of the things why we get saved, is that we shall spend eternity with God. While we are still in the world, fornication, adultery and changing women was part of the worldly living,” he said.
Pastor Kayanja also revealed that a team of 1,000 Pastors who are attending the marriage retreat on Monday, will be addressing a special prayer request, praying for Pastor Teddy Bugingo’s marriage to be saved.

Nantaba flees from Muzigo to mothers home in Kulambiro
As the heat continues to grow, a source privy to the events at House of Prayer Ministries, say that Susan Makula Nantaba has fled the Muzigo where she has been staying with Pastor Bugingo for the safety of her mother’s home in Kulambiro Kyebando Kampala. Her mother Nalongo Kisembo has been shocked by the events but has welcomed her daughter to the comfort of her home. It is not clear when Nantaba’ whose ‘Harrier’ car (which also belongs to Pastor Bugingo) is seen parked at the home will leave the mother’s home.
